Cringe. Dont know what's worse, the petty plot or petty acting.. Netflix has done it again, murdered yet another great idea. Who are these people who approves all of these series before release it on the screen ? Feels like the same person

If they were trying to achieve a stunningly mediocre series about Viking lore, they have succeeded. I suppose that I should be impressed by the fact that they made an entire series without one likable character. I really wanted to love this show, but getting through the season truly felt like hard work. Least valuable player: Leo Suter… who portrayal of Harold Sigurdssen reminded me of that kid in high school who reaaallllyyy wanted to be the cool guy.

The first season was great but this season is slow and makes no sense. It's more like a fantasy lord of the rings knock off with the magic girl who can defeat any man on one hand and the science girl that's smarter than any man on the other… it's stupid.

    Terrific action with depth

This second season really made me appreciate the mediocrity of the first. At least the first season wasn't bad. But Netflix made a show that was watchable for one season, which I suppose is an improvement. Watch the first season if you are still wanting more Vikings, but don't bother going any further than that.

I fast-forwarded through all of the storylines other than the journey to Constantinople, which was barley passable to watch. This season brings shame to the Vikings name. The writing was truly awful.

Superb. Just gets better and better. Fleshes out the characters and takes us deeper into the world.

Great Season 2. I watched 2 episodes a day and thoroughly enjoyed it. But I recognized the writers "lifted" 3 scenes in the last two episodes directly from other movies: The scene when Lief shoots an arrow to kill the blind guide when he was being tortured and killed taken from The Sand Pebbles, and the scene when Harald is hung by metal barbed hooks, taken from A Man Called Horse.

more of the same (good) production & story quality as season 1. Entertaining & interesting.
