GTA 5 new update removes offensive feature
Grand Theft Auto has never been the most family friendly game series in the world, but apparently even Rockstar Games thought that one feature, which was seemingly removed from GTA Online’s latest DLC, went a bit too far.
Despite being out for almost a full decade, GTA Online is still going strong. Just last week, the devs added a bunch of cosmetics and in-game events to mark 4/20, because of course they did. However, the feature which was allegedly removed was supposedly meant to be included in the Los Santos Drug Wars: The Last Dose content update, which released last month.
Before we get into it, take a look at some hilarious wins and fails from GTA V below.
As PCGamesN reports, Los Santos Drug Wars: The Last Dose lets players run their own acid lab to manufacture 'acid product' to sell. As it stands, you can change the name of your lab to whatever you want, a bit like an M-rated version of Stardew Valley. However, according to one GTA fan on Twitter, if you look within the game’s files, it seems it was also originally possible to name the product itself.
“A fun piece of GTA Online cut content from the latest DLC: [Rockstar] planned for you to be able to name your Acid Product, not just the Lab. First time naming is free, then it's $5000 to rename. The feature is fully supported and functional, so here's hoping it'll be available next DLC,” @WildBrick142 tweeted. “And by ‘fully’ I mean, it works but appears to be unfinished - the game might not use the name you give it, depending on the Sell Mission. It's also not something that will be enabled with a tunable update. It would at the very least require a background script update to enable.”
Obviously, this feature didn’t make the final cut - we can only assume that Rockstar Games thought that giving players the power to name their own homemade drugs might not go down too well.
GTA 5's massive new update leaves players furious after price increase

GTA V, also known as the Eternal King Of All Things That Will Never Ever Die And Continue To Shit Money Until We're All Dust On The Wind, has just released a substantial new update. But not everyone is thrilled about it.
GTA V's frighteningly popular GTA Online mode has undergone its fair share of changes over the years. Recently, Rockstar Games has been making more of an effort to include some high-quality story content that brings back classic characters. Since, you know, you're never getting that in the GTA V single-player mode. Sorry.
Unfortunately, the most recent update announced for GTA Online has gone down like a fart in a lift. Rockstar Games announced that it would adjusting vehicle prices in the next update, with some shocking increases on certain vehicles.
In a Rockstar Newswire post, the devs explained that it will be making changes to vehicle pricing in an April 27 update. The idea behind this is to ensure that the game's various cars and their respective prices are better indicative of their actual value. To this end, some cars will be getting a price drop... but other vehicles will almost double in value.
Rockstar insider Tez2 shared a photo of the upcoming price changes and shared it to Twitter, where users were quick to complain.
While there are some reasonable changes, it wasn't long before the Pegassi Opressor MkII's price increase was called out. The vehicle has gone from just over $3 million to $8 million, which is a ludicrous amount - even in terms of in-game currency.
“If the MkII was so necessary to make 8mil then maybe it’s not the price that needs adjusting," one user remarked.
"Everyone that wants one probably owns it already at this point," another said of the MkII.
The price changes doesn't go into effect until April 27, remember, so you have until then to dive into GTA Online and grab what you can before the increase takes effect.
