The actor of The Last of Us Part 2 wants to play in the second season of the serial version, but not in a small role

The Last of Us Part 2 actor wants to play in the second season of the serial version, but not in a small role - The Last of Us - Season 2 The first season of The Last of Us ended with a shocking and divisive finale, followed by an even more complex second season, if everything is true and showrunners Neil Druckmann and Craig Mazin stay true to the events of The Last of Us Part 2. The first season featured several actors who also played in the games, so Emily Swallow (Odaát, The Mandalorian) would also play her part in the second season, but she doesn't want to play just any character.

Although Swallow also plays an important role in The Mandalorian, he is the mentor of the main character of the Armormaker and Pedro Pascal, but it is even more important for us now that in The Last of Us Part 2 he played the leader named Emily, who is the leader of the Seraphites, the technological he is at the head of anti-religious sects and is not exactly a friendly figure. Slashfilm conducted an interview with the actress in connection with the two mentioned series, who revealed that, like Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson, the main characters of the game, she wants to be in the second season of the live-action series, and hopes that she will be approached by HBO. We won't quote what he said verbatim now, because it's a spoiler, but the point is that Swallow doesn't just want an episodic role in The Last of Us, but plans for a longer term, and also wants to appear in at least one scene with Pedro Pascal, with whom, of course, in The Mandalorian (in fact, in The Mentalist) they also play together.

Many familiar faces and voices appeared in the first season of The Last of Us. Merle Dandridge was perhaps the best, as he played the same character, Marlene, in both the game and the series. Of course, Ashley Johnson's new role was also grateful: Johnson played the protagonist Ellie herself in the original The Last of Us, and her mother Anna in the series in a short but very intense sequence. The Joel and Tommy of the games, Troy Baker and Jeffrey Pierce, got supporting characters this time: they each played a villain's henchman in the live-action adaptation.

The creators recently hinted at the second season and its most important new character with a picture, which you can view here.
